Hey guys, just a little disclaimer, not making the blog too serious but just sounding off on my thoughts and then back to your regularly scheduled nonsense.Ok, so I agree with SupaKev that it is a really energized time in politics and you can't help, if you weren't before, to be interested in what is going on...on BOTH sides. The only fair way to really know who/what you support. There are people all over the world watching this, some wanting to get their green cards to vote (lol, which btw you can't vote on a green card) ....exciting times indeed.
However, my gripe with the whole thing, there is no one perfect side, ideal, collection of policies, game plan or...candidate. With that each side will pick on all the weak points or sore spots of the opponents. This is done in EVERY election, by ALL means, to EVERYONE. If your baby is a playground bully it's making it in the news, your husband sold weed in college it's making it in the news, you throw bleach down the drain it's making it in the news. There are some campaigns that go really dirty in comparison to others, and doesn't speak for the whole party per se.
But even more so recently, there is a blatantly hypocritical and obvious smell in the air. Prior to certain events, this race was the making of a great and worthy battle for the Commander in Chief position, like a good football game between two good teams. Now it has a feel of a big joke, and we're all waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out on the last day of the RNC and say we've all been punked and the real VP is...
Anyway my whole little essay is how the elephants who never forget, seem to have a case of amnesia on all claims of fault and lack of quality by showcasing the exact qualities and highlight them as fresh new maverick ideas. John Stewart beautifully highlights via video clips of all staunch Repubs on their real feelings and those for Palin. You're thoughts?
