Well its been one week since the official start up of the much talk about, extremely controversial, Large Hadron Collider. Without a doubt the most amazing part of this is.....were all still alive, this was truly another great example of the power of ignorance. Some no-name whose educational background has very little to do with nuclear physics or atom bombardment decides to file an injunction to get his 15 mins(more like 15 secs) of fame and everyone goes crazy. One man whose experience on the subject matter is the same as my own took center stage against thousands of scientist who have lab rats smarter than our doomsday prophet. The thing is colliders have been in use now for several decades this is just a larger more powerful one that will help us understand several of the universes secrets.Almost all of the modern technological advancements can be credited to the study of these colliders and this new one could possibly be the single greatest scientific achievement since the discovery of electricity. The chances of a black hole being created and sucking the world into nothing is about the same as me getting with Halle Berry.......i don't know about you but I'm pretty sure that were safe. Earth is constantly being bombarded every day bye cosmic rays ten times more powerful than the ones we can simulate here and we've been safe so far. So please before we go off and start screaming for the end of the world.....read a book!!!!!!!!!!!
