::FLASH BACK::

It was 1997, I was but a mere highschool sophomore and I remember rushing home after my last class (a 2 mile walk) to watch the Nsync world premier video and get a glimpse of some Backstreet Boys who were just visiting. What can I say I was a victim/slave/drone for the 90s pop culture. Wishing I could be outside of the studios with a big posterboard saying "I came all the way up from the Virgin Islands to marry JC!!!", hoping Carson would say...."wow look at that one bring her up and those two girls too."

In any case, TRL got too big for it's orginal purpose and many of us got to big for TRL. But now it seems it's just too much for MTV ...at least right now. A decade of creating the pop culture is OVER. Apparently, "this is the latest event in a downsizing-full week at MTV, during which the company laid off 5.5% of its staff, in order to retool itself for the digital age."

TRL will wrap in a two-hour special on a Saturday in November.

"Folks who helped make TRL what is, whether that's Justin, and his guys in N' Sync, the Backstreet Boys, Britney, Eminem - I think we would love to see all of them here," Sirulnick told the AP.

Viva Britney, Christina, Nsync and BSB!!!!!

So who knows what or who the 2 hour special will bring out of the wood work. Are you going to be watching??
