What the hell is a Large Hadron Collider?? Well it's an atom smasher...duhhh. Why should you care? Physicist are trying to recreate the Big Bang...yah you know the science world's explanation for the creation of the universe versus the whole God thing. Anywhoo, scientist successfully recreated step 1 to recreating the dark matter that creates the universe. Quick Review:
The results are in, well in one category anyway. Chubby Checker and his song The Twist has been named king of the most popular single of the 50 years of the Billboards Hot 100 charts. The website has a list of other categories such as which artist(s) had most number ones or longest on the charts. But The Twist is the most popular single "ever", beating out Elvis and the Beatles who didn't place in the top 5.


Fewer Bones, More Breast at Fashion Week

Quick Review:

For Fashion Week this year, the size 0 has been replaced with sizes 2 and 4...yessss the models moved up one size...arent' we making great feats here...big ones! Hopefully you can read through to my sarcasm. Fashion critiques and designers are applauding the beginning of the control of weight issue the fashion industry had, where two models died last year due to anorexia. Attendees say they are diversifiying models, looks and the sizes are improving showing even some boobs or clevage on the runway, and banning underage models from walking. They still prefer their models to be thinner than the supermodels of yesterday, Cindy and Namoi who at the height of their careers were size 6s and Tyra at a size 8, would be considered plus sized.

Pig with lipstick?

Quick Review:

Obama describes McCain and Palin's NEW "change" mantra as: "You can put lipstick on a pig," "It's still a pig.""You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink.""We've had enough of the same old thing."

The McCain's camp takes offense and says that Obama refered to Palin as the pig.

Obama's camp fights back saying that, "lipstick on a pig" is a fairly common idiom Obama often uses, as in a recent Washington Post interview and that McCain has also used the same phrase.

Kanye Arrested

Quick Review:

Typical celebrity story, Kanye was at the airport, when the paps were doing same ole same ole of snapping away and recording.

Kanye gets annoyed and snactches one of the photogs cameras and smashes it on the floor. Meanwhile, TMZ is recording this and the assistant goes for his camcorder and smashes that to the floor and then proceeds to scramble over the tape. Needless to say, the TMZ won. (You don't mess with TMZ)

Kanye and his assistant were arressted with felony charges of vandalism. We all know they will be dismissed, so what to the ev.
