CONGRATULATIONS!!! Not only are YOU not alone in your battle with a facebook addiction but the WORLD is in the same bar with you. BusinessWeek.com reports that facebook trumps Myspace as the top global social network. Don't believe it? Did you know that facebook has:

132 million users
63% are outside of the U.S
Operates in 89 languages (which they can translate and communicate in the native language)
June 2008 alone had a jump of 153% in memberships

Many of these figures are due to the language acessibility technology and that many of the European and Asian countries and businesses are jumping on board to social networks and ad space. The other large contenders in the social networking race, Myspace and Hi5 have also extended international arms, but have fallen short due to market penetration strategies.

Myspace is setting up offices in each of the countries it plans on hosting with relevant ad dollars and customr base. Hi5 who boasts 56 million members are doing a joint approach of the language translation software as a culture presence in the countries of popularity.

So when you think that you have a facebook problem and realize so do 132 million people...then is it a real problem or the norm?
